Traditional

Durleighmarsh Farm has always used traditional farming methods in a way that is sympathetic to the environment and the surrounding countryside.
As well as enhancing the landscape, the abundant hedgerows, trees and woodland provide a vitally important natural habitat for birds and wildlife.
This is a perfect environment for educational and school visits throughout the year.........

Visits

We welcome pre-school, school and college groups to our Farm Shop and PYO. As an “Outdoor Classroom” we have the perfect environment with lots to see and do and a chance to see and learn how fruit and vegetables grow.
Our Pick-Your-Own season is June to October but we welcome visits outside these months as well.
 Weekday visits 1-3 hours as required
 Visits for pre-school and school groups welcomed by prior arrangement. Group of up to 30 ideally with adequate adult supervision
 Visits for college and badge groups, Brownies, Guides, Cubs and Scouts. Group of up to 30 ideally with adequate adult supervision.
 Pre-visit essential, ideally 2 weeks prior to visit for your risk assessment and planning preparation.

Farm Tour Activities linked to National Curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2 including:
• Keeping Healthy
• Growing Plants
• Science
• Habitats
• Art and Design etc
